Kazuhiro Iguchi, Ph.D.

Visiting Scientist

Kazuhiro joined the laboratory of Dr. Dean G. Tang in November 2007 as a Visiting Scientist. He obtained his undergraduate and Master’s degree from Gifu Pharmaceutical University in Japan. He then became a Research Associate at the Laboratory of Pharmaceutics, Gifu Pharmaceutical University. He worked there on several research projects involving prostate cancer and received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 2002. His research focus in the Tang lab is apoptotic protease-activating factor-1 (Apaf-1) and the role in cancer cells.
