Qiuping Zhang , Ph.D.

Visiting Scientist

Qiuping Zhang earned her Master’s degree and Ph.D from the Medical School of Wuhan University, China. She is a Professor and Vice Director of the Department of Immunology at the Medical School of Wuhan University. Her research interest focuses on metastasis and drug resistance of leukemia-associated chemokine receptors.  Her work is published in Cancer Research and Oncogene from 2003 to 2005. Currently she works at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Visiting Associate Professor in the Tang lab. Her goal is to elucidate the relationship between drug resistance and cancer stem cells in vitro and in vivo.
