Postdoctoral Research
Science Park has a strong postdoctoral training program in Cancer Biology and related areas of cell and molecular biology. Trainees are funded by fellowships, grant funds, or by a National Cancer Institute Postdoctoral Training Grant. Postdoctoral education at Science Park emphasizes the goal of preparing trainees to carry out independent research in a particular area of expertise, while maintaining a broad overview of related areas, facilitated by cooperative interactions among Science Park staff.
Perhaps one of the most motivating aspects of research for students and postdoctoral fellows at Science Park is the emphasis on collaboration and interaction among faculty and staff and the opportunities to participate directly in the informal brain-storming sessions that frequently occur.
