Resource Overview
Science Park - Research Division has established and maintains up-to-date, shared resources that support the research programs of our Faculty. Many of these on-site resources are formalized as Facility Cores - Molecular Biology, Histology and Tissue Processing, Cell and Tissue Analysis - with one or more Faculty Members directing the Facility Core and support staff providing services to our research community. In addition, a partnership has been formed with two components of the University of Texas at Austin - the School of Pharmacy and the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology - to provide state-of-the-art instrumentation for mass spectrometric analysis of proteins, serum and small molecules. This Facility Core (Analytical Instrumentation) is located at the School of Pharmacy on the University of Texas at Austin campus. Other major support components include Animal Resources and the Library, described more fully on separate web pages. Additional support resources include Information Technology, Research Graphics, Biostatistics, Microscopic Imaging and Shared Equipment.
