Accommodations

We do not make room reservations and assignments for the meeting attendees. There are now a variety of accommodations available in the Bastrop-Smithville area, including three hotels in Bastrop where we have reserved blocks of rooms. [see area map]These hotels, and phone numbers, are listed below:

You Must Call One Of These Hotels And Make Your Own Room Reservation, Guaranteed By Credit Card, By 6:00 PM Monday, October 1 ! ! !

This date is also the abstract and registration deadline. The 3 hotels listed above have reserved blocks of rooms for the LPC, but will only hold them until this date. It is very important that you IDENTIFY yourself as a Lost Pines Conference attendee when making your reservation. You will need a credit card handy to reserve your room. We encourage you to register for the 2007 LPC well before the deadline. There are two other hotels in the area (Comfort Inn in Bastrop, 512/321-3303 and Pine Point Inn in Smithville, 512/360-5576) that may have rooms available, but do not have blocks of rooms set aside for the conference. If you stay at one of these 2 hotels, as opposed to the 3 listed above, please note that we will NOT be providing van or bus transportation EXCEPT from the 3 hotels listed. You must call the hotels for room reservations.
